About Us and Work Environment

Our company was founded in 2009 and we're currently a small sized team and company. Some of us are serial entrepreneurs and have had their companies acquired by other companies--one of them being Google.

Our work environment is a flat organization comprised of highly talented and competent co-workers with competitive salaries, full health, vision, and dental benefits, retirement 401K plans, and casual dress attire.   • Server Developer

    Ideally, the candidate has:

    Developed web applications with the Ruby language and Rails framework

    Deep knowledge and experience with server architecture (web, app and database layers)

    Deep understanding of MySQL/Sqlite

    Understanding of caching solutions such as memcached and Squid/Varnish

    Ability to rapidly prototype

    Passion for server development, is a quick learner, and hasexcellent teamwork skills and communication

    Strong in algorithms and analytical skills

    BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

    Bonus Points:

    PHP, Python scripting languages and C++/Objective-C

    Mobile development or interfacing w/ mobile applications

    Deep understanding of RESTful services and APIs

    JSON, XML

    Production deploy with Capistrano

    Frontend experience, and JS toolkits such as JQuery, Dojo, Prototype, YUI

  • Mobile Developer

    Ideally, the candidate has:

    Plenty of Objective-C experience, and some Java/Android experience

    Heavily used debugging/memory/performance tools such as Instruments and Sharks

    Understanding of asynchronous client/server interfacing, via JSON/XML messages

    Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, concurrent programming and server interfacing.

    Excellent teamwork and communication skills

    Passion in making a significant impact in the mobile application space

    BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

  • Technical Manager

    Ideally, the candidate has:

    Is passionate about mobile, particularly mobile applications

    Deep knowledge of iPhone OS (iOS) and Android development

    Expertise in Ruby, Rails framework, MVC frameworks

    Enjoys wearing a lot of hats and the fast-paced, challenging, and quick-growth environment

    Helps lead the company into different growth phases

    Assists in hiring teams of engineers

    Engages with the core team on a daily basis to brainstorm new innovative ideas, viable strategies and executes quickly

    Evangelizes and markets the company

    Has BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

    Can architect our server clusters

    Oversee designs for our mobile application suites, website and platforms (RESTful APIs)
